With a commitment to promote sustainable travel in Nepal, Jagdamba Motors and TVS Motor Company have launched the TVS iCube Electric Scooter with Lifetime Battery Assurance. The biggest concern of Nepalis is battery durability, warranty and cost. Therefore, addressing this issue, TVS aims to bring electric scooters into widespread use in Nepal through iCube.

TVS iCube customers who subscribe to the Battery Assurance program will get battery life up to 70 percent SOH (State of Health). Two models of TVS iCube will be available in Nepal namely TVS iCube and TVS iCube S. Only elite customers will be able to purchase TVS iCube at 299,900.

Two-wheeled vehicles of TVS IQ have saved 10,275 liters of fuel by traveling 4,11,000 kilometers in Nepal and prevented 23,762 kg of carbon emissions in the environment.

About 3 lakh customers of TVS IQ in the world have managed to save 470 million liters of fuel by traveling around 1.9 billion kilometers and prevented 69 thousand 590 tons of carbon emissions.

Akhil Gupta, Executive Director of Jagdamba Motors said, 'We are excited to bring our first electric scooter to Nepal. We are confident that with lifetime battery assurance, the use of electric vehicles in Nepal's scooter market will increase significantly. TVS iCube customers who subscribe to the battery assurance program will be able to save Rs 1 lakh 35 thousand on fuel and maintenance within five years.

As the price of petrol increases, this savings will also increase. Each iCube customer will reduce Nepal's petrol consumption by around 300 liters per year and reduce carbon emissions by 690 kg per year, which is a big deal for a country like Nepal, which imports petrol and is a tourist destination.

The iCube offers customers a comfortable ride with a premium silent riding experience. Available at 33 dealers in Nepal, the price of iCube will start from Rs 2 lakh 99 thousand 900, the company said.
