Now the driver's license application and renewal fee can be paid online. In the first phase, this service is going to be operated from Ekantakuna, Lalitpur Transport Management Office.
Rajkumar Kapali, the head of the office, informed about the inauguration of the service where revenue can be paid through online while holding a program on Thursday. According to him, in the second phase, after Dussein, this service will be implemented in the transport management office of the valley and in the third phase, this service will be implemented all over the country.
"The service is starting where the amount can be paid online just like a person fills the online form for a driver's license," Kapali told Tekpana.
He believes that the work load in the office will decrease by 50 percent after the online payment service is launched. According to him, the 500 rupees to be paid after completing the driver's license renewal and the new driver's license form can be paid through the online system.
"Soon after that, preparations are being made to enable the payment of the amount of service customers who have passed the trial online," he said.
