The company has managed to sell 1 lakh units of scooters in the last 8 months. Currently, the company is selling the Chetak scooter in three variants in the Indian market.
Bajaj managed to sell 30 thousand units of Chetak electric scooter in 2022. After that, the sales gradually increased and reached 2 lakh units.
Hanshraj Hulash Chand & Company, the official dealer of Bajaj motorcycles and scooters in Nepal, has started preparing to launch the Chetak scooter in Nepal. Chetak, which the company has been testing for a long time, will be unveiled at the NADA Auto Show 2024, which will be held from August 11.
It is not certain which variant of Chetak, which is available in three variants in the Indian market, will be released in the Nepali market. The company has not yet released any information about its price.
Bajaj Chetak has been given a 50.4 volt 57.24 ampere hour lithium ion battery pack. A 4.2 kW peak power motor is installed in it. Chetak gives a range of up to 108 km in Eco mode.
