Bajaj is preparing to launch its first CNG bike in the Indian market soon. Before the launch of the bike, its design has been leaked on social media. In this, information about the bike's chassis, CNG and petrol tank has been revealed.
According to reports, the bike will be equipped with a double cradle frame with a brace to stop the cylinders. The CNG cylinder can be placed under the seat in the bike. The nozzle for filling CNG will be given towards the front. Also, it will be given a small petrol tank and the place to fill petrol will be like other bikes. The bike has also been given a sloper engine to run on petrol and CNG.
The bike is currently being tested. The testing bike has telescopic front fork, rear monoshock, disc and drum brake setup. For safety, there is a possibility of installing single channel ABS or combi braking on the bike.
However, the company has not yet given any official information about it. But according to the report, there is a possibility that this bike will be introduced in the 125 cc segment. Apart from that bike, the company has planned to launch 5 to 6 CNG bikes in the Indian market by 2025.
The bike is expected to be launched on 18 June 2024. Its likely name will be Bruiser.
