NADA Auto Show has started

NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal has started NADA Auto Show at Bhrikutimandap from today. The show was inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel. 55 brands of vehicles are on display at the auto show, which will be held till August 16.
NADA Auto Show Coordinator Anup Kumar Baral informed that 24 brands of four-wheelers, 19 brands of two-wheelers and 12 brands of light commercial vehicles were displayed in the exhibition.33 companies including lubricants, tires, batteries, garage equipment are participating in the auto show. Similarly, the stalls of 7 financial institutions are also present at the auto show. According to NADA, there are 130 stalls in the exhibition.

NADA Auto Show from today, what are the main attractions?

The Kumbh Mela of the automobile sector i.e. 'Nada Auto Show-2024' is starting today (Tuesday, August 11) at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu. All the preparations for the 16th edition of 'Nada Auto Show' have been completed.NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA) has been organizing 'NADA Auto Show' every year. 95 exhibitors will participate in the auto show for the 6-day fair. According to the organizers, 130 stalls have been arranged for this. In the exhibition, 2-wheelers, 3-wheelers, 4-wheelers, light commercial, financial institutions, auto components and garage equipment are separated according to groups.

 

Coordinator of 'Nada Auto Show' Committee Anup Kumar Baral said that 24 brands of four wheelers, 10 brands of two wheelers and 12 brands of light vehicles will be displayed in the exhibition.

Along with vehicles, 33 companies specializing in different brands of lubricants, batteries, tires, spare parts, different brands of spare parts, helmets, garages and other auto components will be present at the NADA Auto Show.

Nabil Bank, Global IME Bank, Himalayan Bank, Lakshmi Sunrise Bank, Mahalakshmi Bikas Bank, Sanima Bank and Machhapuchhre Bank are participating in the auto show. These banks will provide easy financing facility to customers who buy vehicles at auto shows with attractive schemes.

Emphasis on electric vehicles

This year too, NADA has emphasized on electric vehicles. With the increasing interest of customers towards electric vehicles, the auto show will be full of electric vehicles this year as well. Businessmen are also scrambling to import electric vehicles of various brands from the international market. According to the organizers, about 2 dozen new electric vehicle models will be exhibited at this year's NADA Auto Show. According to NADA, around a dozen new electric vehicle brands are participating this year.

At this year's NADA Auto Show, BYD's M-Six, Tata Punch EV, Dipl L Zero Seven, Hyundai's Creta Face Lift Avatar 11 are going to be exhibited. Vinfast's brands like VF Five, KE, Zikar, Lumin are going to be exhibited at the NADA Auto Show. The government has also taken a policy to reduce environmental pollution by giving priority to electric vehicles. In recent times, the use of electric vehicles is increasing on various major and minor routes including Kathmandu Valley.

Last year's NADA Auto Show was also dominated by electric vehicles.

The demand for electric vehicles in Nepal is increasing due to the increase in the use of domestic electricity, low operation and maintenance costs and environmental friendliness.
