Driving license, passport etc. will be printed in Nepal

The government has introduced a policy to print driving license, passport etc. in Nepal. President Ramchandra Paudel, while presenting the government's policy and program for the upcoming financial year in the Federal Parliament, said that state-of-the-art quality security printing will be arranged in Nepal.

"By arranging state-of-the-art quality security printing, arrangements will be made for security printing of excise stickers, postage stamps, driver's license, passports to be done in the country," the policy and program said.

Likewise, the policy of re-structuring the postal service and making it information technology-friendly, and linking it with electronic business has also been introduced.
