MW Enterprises, the official distributor of Yamaha motorcycles for Nepal, has recently launched the standard variant of the FZ V3. Its price with BS6 FI engine has been fixed at Rs 3 lakh 79 thousand 900.
Inspired by Yamaha's excellent racing heritage, this new sporty motorcycle is equipped with a 149 cc air cooled four stroke Bluecore engine. Its maximum power is 12.4 PS and torque is 13.3 Nm. Due to the installation of FI engine, it is claimed to give a mileage of up to 50 kilometers per liter of petrol consumption. Its ground clearance is 165 mm.
In this new bike, Yamaha has given LCD instrument cluster with features like tachometer, odometer, single trip meter, fuel indicator, speedometer and eco lamp. The company says that this new bike, built on the basis of rider-centric technology, reflects Yamaha's sportiness, style and excitement.
Equipped with 41 mm telescopic suspension at the front and 7-step adjustable monocross suspension at the rear, this motorcycle is comfortable. Disc brakes are provided on both wheels for safety. Unlike other bikes of FZ series, it does not have AVS.
