The prestigious automobile company MW Group has launched a new EV named Dongfeng in its portfolio of world-class car brands. MAW Group has said that it expects this EV to set a new standard in luxury and innovation in the hatchback EV segment of Nepal.
Nami was unveiled at a fashion event organized in Kathmandu which justified its tagline 'The Big Hatch with Five Star Luxury'. A fusion of style and sophistication, Nami is not only unique but also glamorous.

The Dongfeng name will redefine the EV hatchback segment in Nepal. Although placed in the hatchback segment, it is large in size. In addition to its larger size and width compared to competitors, many segment first and segment best features have been used.

Why is Nami 'Big'?
With a length of 4030 mm, width of 1810 mm and height of 1570 mm and a wheelbase of 2660 mm, the Nami is the largest hatchback in the segment. The 17-inch tires enhance its beauty and give it an SUV-like appearance. Also, it has an expandable cabin that will ensure enough space and comfort for all passengers.

Why is Nami luxurious?
NAMI has set a new standard of luxury and intelligence in its segment. Its luxurious interior and state-of-the-art smart technology are well blended in its sleek design. It also has a segment first welcome seat, memory seat, frameless door, flush door handle, passenger drawer with auto parking table top. It has advanced safety features such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning and traffic sign recognition with level 2 ADAS. With a five-star NCAP rating, the Nami has a high level of crash protection and safety systems. Its pure EV quantum and architecture have enhanced its safety and convenience.

Performance and Efficiency
Powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor, it generates 70 kW of power and 160 Nm of torque. This new EV is available in two battery options of 31.4 kWh and 42.3 kWh with a real life range of 430 km (CLTC). This futuristic hatchback will be available in three variants namely Nami E1, Nami E2 and Nami E3 to suit EV lovers, the starting price of which is Rs. 29 lakh 99 thousand, 31 lakh 99 thousand and 34 lakh 99 thousand respectively. For dual tone, an additional 50,000 rupees will be charged.
